Do not retrySuppression limit reached — Your organization already has the maximum number of jobs hidden or companies blocked.
Response body
{ "error": { "code": "hidden_jobs_limit_reached", … } }
Should you retry?
No — the same request will fail the same way. Fix it first.
What it means
Two codes, one per data control, each from its own POST. An organization can have at most 1,000 jobs hidden (hidden_jobs_limit_reached, from POST /v4/jobs/hidden/<job_id>, with error.details.hidden) and at most 1,000 companies blocked (blocked_sources_limit_reached, from POST /v4/sources/blocked/<source_id>, with error.details.blocked). error.details.limit is the cap. Re-hiding or re-blocking something already suppressed still succeeds, and un-hiding and unblocking are never limited.
Common causes
- An integration hiding every job it has ingested, one call at a time, instead of skipping jobs it already has on its own side.
- Hiding a company's postings one by one rather than blocking the company.
- Blocking companies in bulk to narrow a feed, where a filter on `sources` / `exclude_sources` on your own side fits better.
How to fix it
Un-hide or unblock what you no longer need suppressed. For jobs, block the whole company instead, or keep track of the job_ids you already store and skip them on your side. Retrying unchanged will not succeed.
Endpoints that return this
Read from the OpenAPI specification, so this list cannot claim an endpoint returns a status the contract does not list.
| Method | Endpoint | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| POST | /v4/jobs/hidden/{job_id} | Hide a job |
| POST | /v4/sources/blocked/{source_id} | Block a company |
